Steve Kornacki will be joining NBC's Football Night in America, Sports Illustrated reports.

The out NBC correspondent, who has been with the network since 2012, became one of the highlights of the 2020 election because of his energy, broadcasting for over 12 hours in one stretch. Kornacki's enthusiasm quickly went viral, making him a sort of thirst trap for followers and celebs alike. So much so that he was named one of People magazine's sexiest men alive for 2020.

Sunday will mark Kornacki's first appearance on Football Night in America, before the Sunday Night Football face-off between the Chiefs and the Broncos. According to Sports Illustrated, Kornacki will "break down the NFL's playoff picture after Week 13, dissecting every scenario that could play out before the end of the regular season."

In a statement, Kornacki said ""I've been a fan of the game since I was kid and SNF has been must-see TV for me since it started back in '06... Truly a thrill to get this chance, especially as the season reaches its most exciting point. I spent the last year using the Big Board to map out all of the various roads to 270 and I can't wait to put it to use breaking down all of the paths to the playoffs."
