Kit Harington on 'the Art of Wearing Less' on SNL

READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Kit Harington hosted Saturday Night Live and it was, of course, filled with "Game of Thrones" skits and references, including cameos from the hit HBO show appearing in his opening monologue.

But one skit simply played off on his hotness.

Called "Bachelorette Party," it featured Harington as the talent at once such event for his fiance, Erin (Cecily Strong) no less.

The hook was that he came out in semi-drag, but not to strip. Instead, wearing a tight-fitting red-and-black bustier, he was to perform "burlesque," which he described as "the art of wearing less."

Of course the party-goers (Aidy Bryant, Ego Nwodim, Leslie Jones, and Melissa Villaseor) egg him on and are understandably disappointed with his awkward delivery and lack of skin. His French burlesque teacher Mary (a funny Kate McKinnon) is on hand for bitchy commentary; but what kept the skit interesting was to see how far Harington would take the art of burlesque.

In the end, he was a stripper after all.
