New Disney Show 'The Owl House' to Feature First Bisexual Lead

"The Owl House," a new animated series on the Disney Channel, will feature a bisexual lead character, a first for the Mouse House, CNN reports.
The series follows the character of Luz Noceda, a 14-year-old Dominican-American girl who wants to become a witch despite having no magical powers. Series creator Dana Terrace, a bisexual woman, explains Disney's initial reluctance and then acceptance of the show's LGBTQ+ representation:
