Dates Set for 'Girls in Wonderland' LGBTQ+ Festival in June '23

Pandora Events is debuting their 22nd Annual Girls in Wonderland (GIW), an LGBTQ+ festival, at a new location – the Wyndham Orlando Resort –on June 1 to 4, 2023 during Disney World's Gay Days.
The new venue for the yearly celebration features renovated and spacious rooms; two connected pools; a brand new poolside restaurant, and a very LGBTQ+-friendly staff. Pandora Events expects thousands of festival goers from around the world to enjoy poolside bashes, themed dance parties, comedy, films, and more. No matter what event you attend, the energy is always “come as you are."
“Think of GIW as a home away from home,” said Yesenia (Yesi) Leon, co-founder of Pandora Events. “It's a place where you can be yourself, and, hopefully, find your tribe.”
Studs, femmes, stems, and everyone in between will be ready to get down and get wet at the infamous pool parties, hosted on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Wyndham Orlando Resort. The spacious new venue offers more opportunities for participants to connect on the property.
“The vibe at the new hotel is going to be great for lesbians and queers to relax, and have fun – all in a safe space!” said resident DJ (Stephanie) Zehno, who has been performing at GIW for the last 12 years.
Weekend festivities include unique programming for queers of all backgrounds. For the first time, Pandora Events is hosting an All Decades Prom. This exclusive event can be a corrective experience for LGBTQ+ community members who didn't have the opportunity to experience a safe, inclusive prom in high school.
Other signature events include a Pirate Ball, Traffic Jam Party, and After Hours Sessions (until 5:00 am). To keep the party pumping, live music will be provided all weekend long by Pandora Events' resident DJs–DJ Pat Pat, DJ Citizen Jane, DJ Aileen, and DJ Zehno. The weekend wouldn't be complete without local lesbian burlesque by Les Vixens, led by boss babe Ivy.
Tickets will be available for purchase in mid-November 2022.
