Time may be the only cure for the wounds left by love, but a thirsty selfie posted to Instagram can't hurt. JFK's grandson, Jack Schlossberg, shared a shirtless mirror pic that doubtless made everyone feel better.

The thirsty snap was one of a group of images, including a photo showing a life vest, another selfie, a license plate reading "3LONSUX," and a photo of the pope emblazoned with a headline about his planned visit to Turkey in observance of the "1,700th Anniversary of Historic Nicaea Council."

The images were captioned with the Nicene Creed, a prayer recited during the Catholic mass. "IT IS SILLY," Schlossberg prefaced the prayer. "BUT I BELIEVE."

Fans jumped into the comments section with a mix of responses.

"This MIGHT be the most confusing thirst trap of all time 🙏," one person noted.

"Baby I'll believe in God if I can have you," a second admirer declared.

Posted a third: "I love the 'Sexy Andy Kaufman' turn this account has taken. Well done."

Asked one fan: "ANOTHER THRIST TRAP JACK!?"

The post followed an earlier one in which Schlossberg talked in a video about the breakup, saying, "Heartbreak sucks. It's the worst. You feel like... someone said this to me the other day... you feel like you're mourning someone who's still alive. Wow."

However, Schlossberg went on to say, "the other person's a psychopath. If they didn't want to be with you, they're so dumb."

Schlossberg, a political correspondent who is the son of JFK's sister Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg, went on to share words of wisdom he said had been handed down to him by his father: "Breakups are always mutual. Meaning, if it wasn't working, then good - be happy."

Despite that upbeat message, his caption read: "Breakups - ALWAYS MUTUAL - help I'm sad".

Here, too, fans leapt in, some with humorous replies to lift Schlossberg's mood.

"Alexa, play any Adele song," one person posted.

"king we didn't break up," another quipped.

Quipped a third: "i forget to text you back one time and you post this?"
