Pete Davidson, Sans Tattoos, Proves He's the Perfect 'Official Boyfriend'

Funnyman Pete Davidson has had many of his tattoos erased, and now he's writing a new chapter as the "official boyfriend" of clothing label Reformation.
In one ad, Davidson enters a Reformation store clutching a paper bag and a to-go cup. Handing the snack to a store employee, he then watches while a barely-glimpsed young woman – presumably to whom he is the "official boyfriend" – snatches clothing off hangars and spends time inside changing rooms, all while uttering lines like "I booked three places for dinner tonight. Or I could cook," "You look amazing, you should definitely get that," "I wrote a letter about my feelings. Maybe we could read them together?," "I think someone's ready to meet mom," and, "Oh, could I put that on my card, please?"
Davidson's new look isn't all about deletion, though; the "SNL" veteran has added some muscle to help show off his newly tat-free skin, and he's also gained a new sobriety.
"The 'King of Staten Island' star shows a glimpse at his tattoo-free body for the first time since starting his $200,000 ink-removal journey in 2020," People Magazine reported.
"Davidson poses shirtless (pecs, biceps and all) while wearing a pair of cream trousers with the waistband of his underwear peeking through," the outlet added, describing one of the photos Davidson appears in for the new campaign from clothing label Reformation.
In another look, Davidson poses in a sleeveless white T-shirt and matching boxers.
In another video, "which is a tongue-in-cheek take on what guys do while shopping with their girlfriends," People relayed, "Davidson plays the doting partner who 'supports your decisions and is invested in your happiness' while even knowing the difference between Reformation's Val Mid-Rise and Abby Low-Rise Jeans."
"I'm someone's boyfriend and I take that seriously," is Davidson's line in that ad.
Speaking publicly about cleaning up his act, Davidson addressed his disappearing tattoos on Today a couple of weeks ago.
"I saw myself in the mirror and I was like, 'Nah. Who that?,'" People quoted him as saying. "I was like, 'I got to change it up a little bit.'"
People relayed that Davidson had had around 200 tattoos, of which he plans to keep only a special few.
A source told People that Davidson "has been sober since September, and gained 20 pounds."
It looks great on him, too – officially.
